Stories of Light and Shadows

“People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.”

Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

I love telling stories of light and shadows, whether I photograph myself or something else. Hands, body language, light patterns caused by curtains and blinds; little natural objects like leaves and dried flowers fascinate and inspire me.

I only use natural light and I’m not a fan of over-editing photos.

I was born in Switzerland in 1989. For the past three years I have been teaching myself photography (and I continue to do so). I started to photograph trees in the fog, leaves and flowers. Later, I began to take self-portraits. One of my goals for 2018 is to improve my self-portrait skills. Those are some of my results.
